Im retired car lot and body shop owner/operator for 37 yrs,bought a RUSTFREE 91 RS, for my granson's 17th bday I have a set of 93 RS rims that he wants on the 91, I am restoring it for his 17th bday.I no I need spacers but 2 in.or 2 1/2 in,and I wld like to put on the widest tire on rear I can so I dont have to mini tub it in my home garage, and what about the fronts, will need help with those too. I'm betting someone has done this b4.Any help will b greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

 

Use Google to do a search for something like '4thgen wheels spacers' and toss 'thirdgen.org' in there somewhere. That'll get you the spacers you need. As far as the widest, you can fit a ton of tire under a thirdgen without cutting, but when you start restricting things by using stock 4th gen wheels, you're changing things up a bit. Assuming they're a 16x8" wheel, much wider than a typical stock 245/50R16" isn't going to be a good pairing with the wheel. That's why people have gone to 17x9s, 18's, etc. Good luck!
