Stock rims rubbing on tierod and strut
Stock rims rubbing on tierod and strut
Hello im rebuilding my firebird and when i was taking the wheels off to change out the tires, it had maybe 1/8 spacers on them and without the spacers the stock rims rub against the tie rod and strut. I cant figure out why this is a thing. Is there any differences between sub models? Mine is a base that had a v6 in it.

More info is needed.
What wheels are you using? If factory 16x8, there are a front and rear set.

I found the issue. Yes the rears were in the front and when i was swapping them to the back the back wheels also have rear only rims. Was not aware when i bought the car. Oh well then
