Protecting GTA wheels during winter storage
Protecting GTA wheels during winter storage
Hello all, this is my first post. I did a search first to see if this topic has been covered but I couldn't find one. My question: Do you guys spray anything on your GTA wheels during (non heated) storage as a protection? wd40??
Thanks I appreciate the help.

Re: Protecting GTA wheels during winter storage
No, not necessary. A good coat of wax doesn't hurt though. Indoor or outdoor storage?
My cars and motorcycle are stored indoors in an unheated garage in a cold climate and the wheels are fine.
If it stays cold and relatively dry for the winter in your storage garage, the car will be fine. however, if you have a daily driver coming in and out in the bay next to it bringing in snow and salt, puddling under the stored car, you may get some mild corrosion on any bare metal components. The wheels should still be fine though since they are clearcoated.
