IROC wheel center caps.

So, I am bumming, cuz recently i traveled over a rough road, and lost one of the IROC emblems from my wheels. It appears that just the emblem is gone, and the plastic center cap is still in there. I have found some replacement emblems, online. My question is, how do these emblems install? Are they glued on, to the plastic? Or stuck on with some kind of adhesive backing?
TIA,

Re: IROC wheel center caps.

Just for completeness, I have new decals installed on my left

side center caps. Just ordered up 2 new decals, from Classic Industries. It appears the stock wheels just had a plastic center emblem glued to the cap. I popped the rear one off, just to change that one, and make them both look the same. I put in some 2-sided tape, inside the cap as a filler for the decal to stick to. I think they came out looking great. These should hold up for a while. The originals held up for 34 years! Now, the other side emblems will likely pop loose!

Sucks they don't have the same finish as the stock ones...

They were a lot easier to find just 3 years ago.

Yes, I hear ya, but at least there is a solution.......and they look fine from a distance. Not likely anyone will know the difference from original.

Yeahh, I lost one on a bump too. Pretty bummed, but at least I can do this as a temporary solution, thanks for letting us know!

Edit: I literally just did a check on Ebay and found 2 NOS ones for sale at $23 a piece. Bought both, what luck!
