Took the valve covers off to clean and paint them. The engine looks very clean inside especially considering it’s 28 years old.

This car wasn’t bad on the under side but I wanted to clean it up more. My 91 Z28 spent most of its life in CA and was super clean, cars in the Midwest never look that good. I think that car spoiled me, it had no corrosion and barely any dirt on the underside.

I tried cleaning it up but a lot of the red paint came off once I scrubbed at all. I probably should have left it alone.
