Facing from the front Left Headlight Gear, This headlight will go up sometimes when i push the button or just make the grinding noise and stay shut and will not open up when pulled upon it is quiet stubborn. Any help? greatly appreciated

Facing from front, Right headlight gear, this headlight does not go up at all sometimes when the button is pushed or only halfway and has to be manual opened. If I hit a bump on the road this headlight falls down so at night i drive like Mr. Magoo swerving potholes and bumps lol. Any help please? thank you greatly appreciated. Ive been told this headlight motor is the wrong motor for my car it is the 82-86 IIRC motor.
