Started putting the interior together...The original carpet had mold with 2" of water in the floorboards and a ant farm on the passenger side front. I replaced the dash plastic and heater core that was damaged from the fire.

Engine hasn't ran in 18 months...Crappy mechanic used a zip tie for the Mass Air Flow to boot. Several wires from the ECM had the insulation melted off and the mechanic folded black electrical tape in half to cover the wires so they would not touch each other.

Some of the damage from the fire...Shotty mechanic did this crap repair to get it running for my son...Notice the Wal-Mart wire and the crimp connects on ECM wires.

Here is my son with the "Z" in 97. We had it painted 98 Corvette red with DuPont Imron paint. It still shines good after 15 years, and staying outside most of the time.

This is how the interior looks now...4/24/10 (d/s door panel is all black) it was a very bright sunny day. Was able to get every gage and light on the car to work.

Original 1985 305 intake...Shotty mechanic broke the center bolt holes while installing on the newer style L98 engine. (Should have been elongated.)
