My Mustang has a high mount compressor. Obviously this position makes it easier to make the required refrigerant lines.

This Amazon, china hydraulic crimp tool got great reviews. It was about $125 when I purchased it in the fall of 2023. It did a great job on the Mustang and I plan to use it again on my next project car.

The previous owner installed some really good stereo equipment into this car. That's a high end Kenwood head unit. I'm going to buy the Screaming Chicken kit to swap the head unit to the top and put the HVAC controls on the bottom.

The screwdriver is pointing to a tab at he bottom. There is no way to squeeze this or push it up to allow the connector to go through the sheet metal.
