The belt routing decal is rotted off from old age, and I wasn't able to find the correct one anywhere aftermarket, so I took a photo from the factory service manual.

Got the car all back together and running good. After realizing my brand new fan relay I put in just to put in new stopped working, so I put the old one back in and the fan works good again. Oh and realizing the over the counter radiator cap for this application is not correct. I measured the depth and there is no compression to it. So i special ordered an AC Delco cap that shows to be the right depth and the manual suggested 15 lbs.

I added remote charging lugs since the battery is behind the seat. Easy to access now. I put a kill switch in this power lead just in case.

I mean you can see it, and unplug the connector,, but the hardlines from the sender are so long you still have to drop the tank. I didn't have to pull it completely out of the car, but almost to change the pump.

So I did do the removable panel to "access" the fuel pump.

Well I figured out why I lost fuel pressure. So I put in a new pump, sock and hose since I was there.

Well I missed Willow Springs with VARA. But not because I wasn't trying to make it. Just too many things to still work out. Replaced this broken temp sender, but the fan still won't kick on unless I turn the heat or AC on. I need to jack it up and get under it and test the new temp sender I put in the head. I'm thinking there's either a bad connection, or a bad sender.

Got all the power steering lines done. Got both silicone radiator hoses fitted and on. Got the exhaust fit back on just need some new better clamps. Rerouted the main wire to the starter to get it away from the header.

Then after a couple weeks the belt relaxed and i found i need a bigger diameter alternator pulley. Which I was already considering anyway. So got a new Jones 3" pulley on the way from behrents.

Almost done, had to order a couple more fittings. As you run the lines you realize things need a different path.

Connector on a temp sender in the passenger head was so old it just crumbled into nothing. Now the wire doesn't want to stay. Having a hard time finding a replacement connector for it. Need to look at my factory service manual to see what that's even for?

Stupid... I forgot to tap the rear most exhaust manifold bolt on the passenger side. The bolt was missing when I took it apart and I figured the threads were junky. Well sure enough. Luckily there was room to just barely get the tap in there and turn it with a wrench.

Passenger side on but only snug. Gotta get a couple longer bolts. One for the dip stick and one for the AC pump support. Had to take of the valve cover and relocate the heater hose hard line to get it in.
