I was looking at tomsaddy's amazing car this morning, saw he had totally Dynomatted his interior. I ordered some peel and seal, and will add to the doors, roof and anywhere else I can. I also ordered a box of the 3M strip caulk as I will need more for the mylar as well as to recover the little access hole for the lower hinge bolts. But yes, finally winning again is nice after all the door frustrations.

Also replaced the window motor. Took some finagling to get the small fasteners in and out, but done.

Replaced handle and lock cylinder, sweepers and inner door handle, also door weather stripping. Seems like everything having to do with the door is a royal PITA. Those little blue weatherstrip anchors are possessed!

I decided to go with the black vinyl on this panel, left the old fabric with the padding. I think it will better meld with the black dash coming around the corner. I only cemented the edges so the foam was unaffected.

Plan to paint the cardboard with some low viscosity epoxy I had left over from the boat. Hopefully make i a little more weather impervious.

Many tears and cracks, will reinforce with some oak strips, remnants from a previous woodworking project.
