Did find the bracket. Bad news is you cant buy it anywhere. Theres simply none available. Ive had alot of parts that have been hard to find over the years but this is by far the hardest. Sad thing is, i can see how it would pull the outter edge of the bracket inwards slightly and support it. I feel it would fix my problems

every time I open the hatch the motors burn out or not getting power. not sure what the problem is. I typically replace motor and its good to close but this time its not getting power so I found a company called WestCoast autoparts that sells the complete assembly that's been refurbished. my question is, if I take this piece off and bolt it on the new one is that all I need to work the outside lock? also is that one bolt and screw all I need to remove too get that piece off for the transfer ?
