Seems pretty simple. A piece of metal with some bends dresses up the area quite nicely.

Back to the main subject...

I'll start checking out the radiator cover next week - I need to be at work to start designing it (using Pro/Engineer software). I'll post the picture to make sure its what your intending.
(note: thats if I dont doze off at work from baby keeping me up most of the night) LOL.

I took some fast measurements... Is this the form you guys are after? Uses existing 4 holes to assembly. I will probably slot the holes, spacing for mine was 8 3/4"; 8 7/8"; 8 7/8". These were centerline dims of the screws. If a couple of you could measure to double check yours, that would be great. I'm trying to find a part you all will be satisfied with.

I have to verify, but the numbers on my scratch index card say:
Length = 27 15/16"
Formed Width = 4 1/4" (as looking on top)
The holes are 8 3/4"; 8 7/8"; 8 7/8" centerlines

The one that I have on my car is off a Chevelle...fits with no problems and I sure you can get it at jegs or summit racing.

It's from the 69-70 chevelles...and it depends what size of radiator you have it comes in 2 different sizes 27" & 31" I have the griffen rad in mine and I have the 31' support.
I hope that this info will give you the answers that you are looking for.

Heres what I came up with bending my own for my new rad. Got this on the first try too. lol

I'm going to clean it up and spray it the same color as the engine bay.

Yep. I lucked out and knew someone with a sheet metal brake. But created the template using posterboard. I found several local places that would have bent it for me pretty cheap if need be, once I had a template.

Re: who sells chrome radiator supports

Are you talking about the radiator filler panel that goes from the bumper to the core support or the radiator cover that keeps the radiator standing up? If you're interested n the filler panel there is a thread in the fabrication board about a guy who "might" start making pieces like these, go over there and submit your need for one too. But at any rate both pieces are not much more than sheet metal bent in a brake. I made one that fit a stock dual fan setup and another for my current setup but they are on Photobucket at the moment....
