hardware size?

does anyone know what size hardware I need to install the front ground effect on a 1991 firebird? I cant find my repair manual and I'm finding nothing online.

The Firebird Parts and Illustrations catalog is in the history subforum in PDFs.

Assuming you mean the pieces in front of the front tires? Double-sided tape across the top, typical metric body bolts to the fender and front bumper... 10mm hex, probably a 6mm thread.

dude that 1,000 page parts guide just confused me. I couldn't make heads or tails of where to find the hardware

Yeah, it's not exactly the easiest book to navigate. Doesn't help that whoever scanned it into the PDF cropped the page numbers out.

You would have to look up the front body parts, or bumpers, or grills. Sometimes the specific hardware isn't even listed. But when it is listed, it's one of a rare few places to find sizes and part numbers.

I'm going to go old school and drive my car to the hardware store and run in and out of the store test fitting until I find the screws that fit. reminds me of my youth when that always what you had to do.
