Question about my new water pump

My girl friend was nice enough to buy me a new Edelbrock aluminum waterpump for my engine buildup, but I have a question. On the box it says for 87-93 reverse cooling engines. I thought the engines in IROC-Z's weren't reverse cooling? Can somebody clear this up. The pump is p/n 8881 and can be found in the Summit Catalog. Thanks

I have the same pump. It should be a reverse ROTATION pump (serpentine belt only)...the reverse COOLING engines are LT1s and even then their water pumps are NOT belt driven. HTHs.
