I just upgraded from the 32b bin to the ARAP 6e using my 165ecm. Now when the car is started cold it throws the 32 code. I am using TunerproRT and have the EGR Disable temp set to .5 degrees or less and still show the error. If i use winbin and the 6ev009.ecu file to open my 6e arap bin, it shows the egr checked off. When I use tunerpro, the only selection that coincides to that bit (bit 3 in the VSS/egr diag. table) is the 4th airflow mode table where bit3 is checked and shows CCpin at that spot. I don't know what CCpin is....any ideas??????

Is the EGR bit selected/not selected in the stock ARAP bin and is this bit known as CCpin(bit 3) in the 4th airflow mode table.???

If not, Where in the airflow mode tables #1-4 is the bit to turn off EGR diagnostics????

I would just set the MAT threshold as high as possible:

LC247: 255 ; Disable EGR if MAT < x

Also unset the diag flag:

LC1DE: 0xC6 ; bit 3 is off (no check mark)

This will keep the EGR off along with the diagnostics.

I changed the disable EGR when MAT temp is <X to 255 degrees.

I'm still not familiar with code, but if the only bit 3 that is checked is table 4 for CCPin and the description on that is "if ccp change force into 128". I don't know what that means, but that is the only bit 3 checked off out of the 4 airflow mode tables.

Maybe just changing the EGR disable temp to 255 instead of .5 will do the trick.

It looks like changing the MAT value to disable the egr from .5 to 255 worked. I only fired the car once, but no SES light...Good sign.
