Aftermarket T-56 setup $2400
Fellas, I'm switching to auto for enhanced launching. I'm looking for what this stuff is worth before I pull it from my car. Plus you can still drive the car with the trans in it to verify the quality! I would prefer to sell this as a complete set.
Aftermarket T-56. fully rebuilt in summer 2004 by D+D in Wixom, MI. All steel shift forks, new synchos, blockers, etc.
Less than 1000 miles after rebuild. This rebuild cost me ~$1000, have receipts. The great thing about this T-56 is that you can use a stock style clutch! Cheaper and more effective!
Pro-5.0 shifter.
Spohn adj torque arm and X member, powdercoated black. (i also have the spohn X-member w/o tq arm mount of anyone is interested)
Custom Dana 3.5 inch .120 wall aluminum driveshaft, 1350 u joints.
SFI billet flywheel for 2 piece rear main seal.
Centerforce DF clutch.
I thanks justin.may@zimmer.com

Yep I'm swapping pretty much everything. I really hate to get rid of this as I love shifting and also the great mileage 6th gear offers.

Check out the link above, it explains it really well. This is THE transmission to have for a car originally equipped with a t-5 like mine was. (it died) Plus, I'm selling the custom aluminum driveshaft, pro 5.0 billet shifter, spohn arm and x member etc.
Still working on a price, details soon!

I may be interested. My car is an automatic. I have the build sheet for the 700R4. It was built at Pioneer Parkway Transmissions in Peoria, IL.
I need everything to make a complete swap. I would be willing to offer 2K-3K with the 700R4 included. It all depends on what is available with the swap.
I would also be willing to meet you half way. Car is put up for winter right now, so I would need time to pull the trans.
My trans has approx 3000 miles on it. That includes one autocross run. No dyno flogs or dragstrip (stoplight or otherwise)
Let me know

How much for the 2 piece rear main seal flywheel for the T-56?
Is it external balance? (for a 383/400 crank?)
Most folks may not have noticed that piece - it will only wrok on block built before 1985, right?
You are also willing to take your pick of stuff I have listed in this thread as possible swap items: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/showthread.php?s=&threadid=336248
Want or need an LT-1 manifold? Or a set of super nice glass t-tops?
I've got the T-56 sitting in my garage waiting for a flywheel that will fit my 1970's era 010 blocked 383 motor inmy 'Bird. I need this flywheel! Shiping will be to 75093 (Dallas, TX ar

Is that an internal balance flywheel (like on a 350) or an external balance flywheel (like on a 383 or 400)? I'd like to talk to the prospective buyer in case it won't work on his application....

Ummm, thanks for the offer to talk to my buyer but I'll be doing my own sales as we already have made sure everything will fit his application.
Also, this is a Mccleod billet sfi flywheel that has a removable weight on the motor side. The weight when "on" is external balance. When off it is internal balance. I ran it off on my 406 due to internal balancing.

Not trying to mess with your sale, just hoping the flywheel was not the one they needed and was willing to buy it from THEM if it wouldn't work for their needs. Didn't mean to offend, for C's sake!

Do you have a part number for that flywheel? Also - please have the buyer drop me a P.M. about this flywheel. Thanks!
