Location for blower high relay.

Anyone know where this is located on an 88 v8 with Air? My blower works in all settings except for high, I am guessing its the relay.

I was searching for something the other day and ran into a pic of it. There was a wireing diagram too. Can't remember what I was looking for. I am always looking for something.

From what I remember if I remember correctly, it's the only relay out next to the blower motor/resistor setup under the hood. Mine is doing the same thing on the 87. All speeds work cept high. Haven't fixed it yet.

Cool! I saw that relay and thought it would make sense that it was it, but you never know with these cars.

Probably the resistor. Pics in the following link:

The resistor would allow the fan to work in all settings except High?

A resistor swap cured my problem. Now that I consider though, I don't recall if the problem was with the lower fan speeds or the high. Two screws on the resistor cover. Pop it out and see if the resistor wire has burned through (I recall simply twisting mine together to make it work until I could find another one). At any rate, the link should provide you with the positions of the relay and the resistor.

That is the exact thread I was looking at. I tried swapping the resistor from a known to work doner car and it didn't cure my problem. Keep meaning to grab a relay from the scrappers to see if that is my problem but keep forgetting. Donor car relay is not the same.
