I am considering using an inline fuel pump for my Lt1 swap (94 vette 4l60e into a 89 v6) rather than go through all the hassle of dropping the tank. Has anyone done this before?

Zepher: I know you are doing something similar, do you actually have it hooked up yet? I'm thinking of using the Aeromotive A1000 or similar pump.

 

I used the stock fuel pump(intank) on my 87. It's been 4 mnths and not a problem yet.

 

you can use your stock pump, check the pressure with a pressure gauge.... if it's over 45-48 psi, you should be alright.

 

I have mine hooked up and it worked great when I was running the TPI setup.

I had a carbed car and didn't want to drop the tank so I went with an inline Holley Universal 230lph 45psi pump.
