S-10 torque converter

I think I remember someone back in the day on this board saying that they ran a newer S-10 converter from GM performance parts for like 200 bucks and it stalled around 2200-2400. Maybe i was in a drunken stupor, but i figured i'd ask and see if anyone had any idea what i was talking about. thanks

I saw that post too. I also printed out an article posted at
www.theherd.com Click on the tech articles and then scroll down to almost to the bottom. Its a very good tech article. The author explains alot about converters and it has the part numbr for the S-10 converter.

If you just want the part number its 24202310

Good luck,
Brian

Thanks Brian, that pretty much told me everything i was looking to find out. As it turns out, I think i'd like to go with a bit more stall than that, but at least now i know. thanks again

Why do you keep responding to posts that are more than a year old? You have done it 3 or 4 times today!

Maybe this guy did a "SEARCH" and found what he was looking for and posted a reply. Anyway's, it is good to have old post revisited from time to time. Knowledge gained from these post could save $$, heartaches, etc...
