Heater Blower broken?

Today my blower from the heater doesn`t work anymore. I can turn the heater **** on Low/med/high nothing happens. There still comes a little airflow from the vents when I drive but that is not much. Where can I start to search to find the problem?

I already check the fuses- no damage. Are there fuses under the hood to? I just check the fuses under the dashboard.

Check the purple wire that plugs into it, see if there is 12V on it when you turn it on. If there is, then the motor is bad. If not, it's a wiring problem. As said before, check the A/C fuse under the dash first. If it's good, you have a wiring problem. No fuses under the hood.

The single most likely point of failure is the wire that supplies power to the A/C control head. If you remove the control head from the dash, you will find (among a few other wires) a brown wire connected to the "mode" switch. If you follow that brown wire as it leads away from the switch, about a foot from the switch, you will come to a connector of extremely stupid design that is probably burnt to ashes. Replace this connector with a set of HEAVY DUTY slide terminals.

I now checked the blower motor- works perfect. Then I checked the plug from the switch. There are 5 wires and there is no power. I check the fuse panel and there is 12V. So I think its a wiring problem.
@RB83L69 thx for the tips- tomorow I will check this next.

@RB83L69

A BIG THX to you! It was the f**king connector you sayed. I taked the power now direct from the brown cable and put in on the blower switch- now it works. Not perfect but warm .

Thx again!
