soft brakes

I have very soft brakes, I have bled the brakes 4 times now and there seems to no air in the lines, I even went out and bought a hand held vaccum brake bleeder.

What else could cause soft brakes? The brakes do lock up all four tires but only under extreme pedal pressure.

mine brakes are kinda soft, but stop very good..

i redid the front brakes and rear brakes (all disk), blead the calipers, but i did not bleed the master cyclinder i heard that can get air pockets also! i was reading it in my haynes manual..

also it could also be your rubber brakes lines, have you replaced them before? i know mine are stock and being 12 years old they might need replacing..

i would try bleeding the master cyclinder if thats possible!
also get new brakes lines if you never replaced them yet.
