Will it all fit under the stock hood?

Dante93, is that a T for Texas or a T for Tennessee?

I second that. What is that black thing in one of your above pics. It doesn't look like a turbo to me. What kinda of exhaust manifold are you going to run? BBS?

Come on, you being in CLinton SHOULD be able to distinguish the two!

Its a TN "T". I live in Idaho now but grew up in Knoxville... moved away in '98.

because we all know the first step to a twin turbo swap is to read up on the speed limiter removal for TBI equipt fbodies ;p

You would think you would just tune out the speed limiter, since your gonna hafta tune a hell of alot for turbo..

btw in the first pic they barely look like turbos and seem to be sitting on the engine hoses and brake lines, in the second pic it dont look like a turbo

There was a TT third gen on Horsepower TV awhile ago, they didn't do anything with it, but it was in their shop. Had a purple-gold Kamelion paint scheme.

I would love to Turbo my TransAm but I wouldn't know where to begin. Every mech I talk to in town all say the same thing "turbos are for imports, muscle needs a supercharger!!!" blah blah blah. My L03 is stock so I think I would need to do some work to it before it gets boost.

As for the pic..I look at it and I see nothing. Try getting a better angled shot of the engine bay

Is this the TT Thirdgen?

I believe this might be the TT Thirdgen.. I saw it on this site a while ago..

I don't think its the one from TV, but allegedly this beast is pushing like 1100 hp if I remember correctly. Its a dyno queen.

Although that is a turbo 3rd gen it is not TBI and a far cry from the desing of NEEDforSPEED's method of boosted induction.

Oh I know, I read someone mention that they saw a turbo charged thirdgen.. I know that isn't TBI or anything near NeedForSpeed's car.. I was just showing it.

I apologize for wasting bandwidth

yeah this guy has problems i think, ime attempting to do a single turbo installation on my 350 tbi motor, but i am actually going to do it, t7/.84 garrett p trim, bbsd serpentine headers turbonetics waste gate with hks blow off valve. allong with great induction and injector mods and a new marvelouse varying adjustable fuel pressure regulator. i have the money, going back to florida on the 30th, then it begins. wish me luck...

it was either that or a supercharger, but i think ime set on getting a turbo, with upgrading (maybe change of injection) the possibilities are endless. i wana hit 450hp, and i think i can do it!

seriously thats wierd, starting a post about a turbo tbi, everyones like 'wow man i have got to check this out!..' and it turns out to be some dwad holding up a blower motor,

'yeah dudes, ime going to double twin whammy turbocharger''

'oh yeah? any numbers yet??'

'uuuuhhhhh no, but my air conditioning can freeze my nipples now..'

what FMU are you going with, as near as i can figure, there are non of the off hte self units that will give the needed fuel/boost ratio. the vortec super FMU may do the trick.

Turbos are going ot be somewhere in my cars furture. But with as many projects as i have going, and the lack of funding, it will likely be a long ways down the road.
