Where would be a good place? I dont need anything that'll blow everything out of the water Im still planning on the LS1/T56 swap next spring so i dont want to spend like 2 grand on this motor to get it running good again. I'm going into the Air Force in Aug so i just want something that'll run smooth until then. Also my car is still up in Red Bluff so i need to figure out whether or not im going to bring the car down here or bring the motor to the car. blah hella complicated when you dont have alot of cash saved up. Any ideas or help would be great though guys.

Sorry I won't be able to make it anymore, as most of you guys know I am moving out of state to Idaho before the meet date.

As much as I really don't like Sac either, I will not be leaving this place anytime soon, especially for Idaho. Since the Fresno guys dropped the ball, guess we will have to do it some other time.

lol, drive to Florida, you go right ahead and do that. Have fun when your car breaks down on the way, not to mention the hundreds of dollars spent on gas.

 

No kidding back when i drove cross country from Boston to Red Bluff i easily spent over 500 bucks just in gas and that was back when it was only $1.70 a gallon throughout most of the country.

 

We should have a cruise to Great America ( santa Clarita,about a 3 hour drive for me)or six flagsVallejo,3-4 hours for me).They have a big bbq area too.

 

That sounds like a good idea to me. Summer is coming and that would be really fun to do. Six Flags sounds good, and then a nice BBQ. Everyone could just pay there own way, and bring your own food to cook, would work out fine I think.

 

I've been wanting to take my kids down there anyway so it would work out well.My daughter wants to see the dolphins.

 

I like the animal shows too.
My fiance has been wanting to go there since we met. We should plan a day to do it. Even if the other guys don't want to, we could go with our families Steve. My fiance loves kids too, she would have a good time.

 

Yeah that would be great.I need to get outta town for awhile.I would just get a hotel room for the night and come home the next day.If we go as a group then I would just leave the kids here,too much bad influence .

The end of May sounds ok with me. Weekends are best for me too. Going over to a park after to eat is a good idea. Me and my fiance would probably want to get a hotel for a night too. Then we could go to the ocean for more pics and just to hang out, would be a very nice drive.

 

if i still had the stock muffler, it would be on.. when i was taking it all down, it got caught on something, so i tried kicking it off, and my muffler broke in half

 

OuchI just got 3 coupons,2 for 1 during the week or 25.99 each on the weekend, so I guess it's still 2 for 1.Let me know who wants them.I can get more if needed.

ya I know I need to go over to Eric's, I'm just afraid how much it might cost to buy new parts, being 17 and an f-body owner isn't easy haha. The only thing about the cruises that worries me is since I've never really driven far alone, I don't know the roads, and everytime I go somewhere with travis, or eric, they take off and I don't really drive so fast. I need people to take it slow with me!

Will, i got the new tranny in which shifts firm in all gears, and i upgraded my axle from 2.77 to 3.42.

Travis, that's right, you were telling us about that during the last gtg. Sorry, I am losing my mind.
Upgrading the rear end is one of the next things on my list also. You should do well with it, especailly with the tranny shifting better.
