Update:

My account expired this morning. No more reports. Just so everyone knows, Carfax is getting smarter. They have added a password feature to the accounts, and they also limit individuals to ONE Unlimited Membership per 12 months.

I'm sure that they cancelled my account because of all of the reports.

It was fun for a while..

Ok, so I'm an idiot and paid $20 for a !!!30 Day!!! membership.... Was just so excited to get a report on that Camaro I saw down the street... It was my mistake so I'm not going to ask for a refund,

But since this is Camaro-Buyin season if anyone needs a report, reply to this thread and I'll get you what you need.

In the post, please type your e-mail address (the message board will automatically make it a link) so that it's quicker for me to send the report to you.

I messed up the first few so some of you guys might get more than one email from me. From now on I'll send the report as a text file.. not quite as pretty as HTML but not quite as many problems either

dps where were you when I needed a report? well the diffrence in price was only $5 between one time and 30 day so I also got the 30 day deal since I was on the search for a car and just incase this one didnt turn out to be the one i could research another.

Anyway I see there are a lot of request so Ill try to take some off of you.

lol Taz, I just did all of them again too... you can either send the reports by cut and paste or save them as a text file and send them as an attachment... just in case you were wondering.

I guess most people wont mind getting more than one report... it is free after all. Here's an idea for a moderator or someone else wise and all-knowing to consider:

I bet carfax would direct contract with a group this size. In fact, as a personal contribution I would be willing to look into establishing a collection system so that members could pay a MINIMAL flat flee for carfax reports via thirdgen.org

Now I'm no contract attorney, but here's what I'm thinking:

We use an online service like billpay or paypal or something similar to set-up a billing service. That way, thirdgen members could opt-in for a monthly or yearly fee (payable to an LTC or Sub-ex corporation via thirdgen.org) in exchange for on-demand carfax reports. ...It'd probably be a day or so turnaround on the report, but hey...it's cheap

It'd be an incredible benefit to thirdgen-ers... and it would mean a sizable presence for carfax.

Hey thanks alot man. When i bought my car, the front end was all smashed up, and there was an obvious fire right above where the TBI used to be on the old engine. Suprisingly, there was no fire, accident, or salvage title on it. I bought the thing from a junkyard!!!
