Air Dam Needed!!!!!

Does any one have or know wher ei could pickl up an air dam fairily cheap? And if worst comes to worst could someone give me the measurements so that I could have one made out of sheet metal... thanks alot please email me @ welfareracingny@aol.com thanks again

Just go down to your local gm dealer and buy one. They are any were from $25 to $40 and if not in stock can be ordered within a few days. I would also suggest that next time you use that nifty search feature they have at the top.

Go buy one Mine was $26 bucks straight up...be there in a few days. Ordered it on a friday had to wait til tuesday cuz they were closed

Made mine out of chequer plate. Two pieces, a master and slave. The slave piece is riveted using fairly small rivets, so if it gets busted on a ramp, it'll generally bust a few rivets on the slave, and not bend or break the whole lot.

Thats one nifty lookin air dam. I bet that doesn't give you any air flow problems under the hood. Our plastic ones probably bend when under high speeds.

In the UK there aren't many days in the year when you need an air dam. I wired in a manual fan switch for stop/start stuff in the non-winter months (I can't call them summer, cus we don't get them any more), but found even in 75-80* cruising was causing the fan switch to operate frequently between 220-190. The air dam keeps the temps down below 190 when cruising.
