flame throwin ideas

what if u took a co2 canister w/ a on/off switch and ran the hose to the back by the pipe exits and then put a spark plug there, and connect it to a sparkplug wire already existing on the distributor cap with a wire tap connector or something, and then to a on/off switch then to the sparkplug? or instead of wire tapping could u just run a wire that was bolted on to the alternator wire as well and run that to the spark plug and switch??

let me know cause i really want to do this, but have no money, and want to do it the easy and safe way

The old style was to put dual straight backs with no muffler (and no cats obviously) and retard the timing and run it rich. Shoots the gas out and lights it when you rev it up or something like that. The valet mode on an ecm suggestion sounded good but wouldnt you need a motec type system (expensive) to do that in the car.

flaming exhaust is stupid to me. why would you want to melt the already crappy paint (thanks GM) on your bumper? and besides theres nothing better than an open flame by your gas tank. do it if you want but i sure as hell wouldnt.

im going to splice in lines from a propane tank from inside my car, passenger floor bord, then run those lines to almost the middle of the piping between my glasspacks and the tips then about an inch down put in spark plugs hooked to the alt. ran off a switch. with side pipes, on on each side of the car, that will look nice. watch your pant legs though

let me know if that actually works, how did u hook up the spark plug and alternator?? did u just run a wire from the alternator to the end of the spark plug and that was it?

i just finished this on my dads mazda B2000, it has a side exit, all i did was drill a hole in the exhaust pipe about a foot and a half from the tip, weld in the propane line there, then put in the spark plug about 6 inches form the tip, tun a wire that used to hook up for fog lights back to the spark plug and presto, turn on the propane and flip the switch, instant blue flames, he uses it when people **** him off he will pull up to their car and turn it on. its rather funny, he did it to a cop car once, at a stop light, melted the cops bumper but the cop didnt notice it. we were :sillylol:
