52mm Throttle Body for 305 TPI

right now i have a stock 305 TPI but im building a new 350 for it so i dont want to do anything big to the 305. i was wondering if i put a 52mm throttle body on the 305, if i would see any power gains, im putting an AFPR on it tomorrow and im just trying to get some temporary power so i can make a few bucks. i dont want anything that would be time consming to install because like i said, ill have the 350 soon enough and ill have to take everything off the 305 qanyways. thanks for the help, any other opinions would be appreciated

Spend your money elsewhere. Cold air would do more for you on either engine, as would just about anything of equal price unless you're making a lot of power.

temporary power = nitrous

IMO, a 52mm. throttle body will do exacltly ZERO for performance on a NA 305. In most cases, a 48mm TB is sufficient for a NA 350. If I were you, I would spend a few more bucks on headers. They should give you some decent power gains, and transfer to your 350 w/o any grief. If I am not mistaken, a BBK throttle body is around $300. Now, I don't know what F-body headers go for (I have a Chevelle), but I wouldn't think it be WHOLE lot more than $300.

headman-310 + coated
Hooker- 350+ coated
Slp- 500+ coated... all are with AIR tubes, and y pipe... they would be cheaper if u didnt have the air tubes...but i do suggest getting them coated....its worth the money

You don't need more than a 48mm TB at all. You have to be making lots of power for that. Spend your money on things that will make a difference. Just get an airfoil for better flow as the engine needs more air.
