show off your fog lights
i did a search for it but didnt come up with anything, i just got fog lights and i'm trying to figure out where i should mount them at. is outside or inside of the front grill the best? i was also thinking of doing something new and making them shine forward and down on the road from somewhere in the engine compartment. what do you guys think? ohya, the lights are blue and i drive an 83 brown berlinetta (i hate the color!)

You should probably mount them where everyone else does.

The white has stock fog lights in their stock location. The black one has some cheap as<x>s aftermarket ones (they were on the car when I bought it) that are prolly going to get replaced with stock ones.

OK! Oh sorry!!!! I thought you were talking about those lights!

weirdo...... LOL just
ing Have you got a pic of your car without the licence plate? So this was always my crazy idea. Get a set of really bright foglights and mount them near the rear hatch and face them out backwards. Then when someone is tailing you at night, you turn them b!tches on, in the drivers face. Kinda weird, but I'm always thinking of ways to **** people off, lol.

Had the spare 1,000,000 candlepower light in the back seat for that...you can feel the heat from this thing 20 feet away! It puts a beam into freakin space at night. I usually wait until they are right on my a** with those blue beams on high...fight candlepower with candlepower, I say...

!! My Jeep CJ7 has two 120W foglights at the back as reverse lights. I also have them wired a toggle switch to power them up when the need arises, usually at night in the boondocks. I used to momentarily flash them at people behind me who wouldn't switch to low beams or had annoying driving habits, until some retard pulled off a few rounds one night. Haven't done it since then. My brother also switched them on one night when I was following him in another car. I was pretty f**ked up for the next 5 minutes, couldn't see anything but a phantom white glow in front of me. Wanna get creative? why not rig up a battery of camera flash bulbs in the rear window

KS Kid -
Since the early Camaro's were not originally equiped with Foglights,...... there is no place to mount them "correctly". I have an 84 Berlinetta & I had to mount my Factory Foglights in an unusual way,........ Behind the grills like many others here are showing.
I had to use 85 to 87 CAMARO fog light brackets (NOT the Z28 style) and I placed 2 - 1/4" washers on each of the screws between the fog light bracket and the steel bumper to give the fog lights the proper mounting hight.
I also found a spare set of 82-84 grills and cut JUST THE BOTTOM portion of the grill out..... That piece was then placed behind the regular 82-84 camaro grill so that there was enough clearence behind the grill for the fog lights on each side. ( this tilted the grill a little but is not a problem in any way )
If you want a few more picture of the installation - Just send me an E-Mail and I will be happy to show you how they are mounted. Considering the fact that I have the same EXACT nose that you do - My set-up might be exactly what you are looking for !!
P.S. Don't forget that the best set-up was when the CAMARO fog light brackets were used !! I had a set of Z28 brackets as well when I installed my fog lights and I tried them both !!

I had custom plexiglas panels fabricated. I made the templates. All I did was follow the body line where the foglight/turnsignal is.
Sealed them in. They look great day or night.
