now thats a CLEAN headlight conversion!

Id love the details on that.

Oh, and kudos on that interior, VERY tastefully done. Id prolly have left it as a t-top car, but thats just me. SWEET *** job on the conversions, VERY VERY skilled man....

i posted a poll on 3rdgen.org as to if the top picture of the car has been color changed in photoshop and here are the responses i got:

yes its photoshopped I can almost prove it... look at the reflection of the building on the hood.. if the car is that SHINY.. the reflection of a gray building wouldn't be ORANGE on red.. it was a dull grey on a WHITE car.. and the WHITE was edited RED.. thus, making the reflection seem red/orange too..
To go along with that, it kinda looks like the color saturation was altered as well, or the colors with the license plate - doesn't look like it should be that white...

it's called a crappy scan. it was too dark. i went into PS to adjust darkness. I'm so sorry it doesn't meet your approval. What reason would I have to photoshop my car??? I'll rescan it and repost it for you on Monday.

Kiztope,

the car sat for a few years in many pieces. When we did the car show circuit we had personalized plates "FATAL". The car was not driven on the street for about 4 years and we never had it inspected or renewed tags. When hubby tore it down and made it a driver we had to get new plates because "FATAL" had already been taken by then.

the car is completely tore down. entire interior is out. Motor, tranny and front suspension is gone. We are putting the same interior back in except for the dash and console. We will be using the dash and new console from the 2000 Z. Hopefully Fatal will be back on the road by next weekend. I'll have more pictures on Monday when I develope the finished roll.

We will have the seats from the 2000... They are cloth.

GEEZUS!

Lay off of the damn guy! IUt looks Photoshopped because it HAS been Photoshopped - he's not HATING on anyone, it HAS been, as the owner has just said. Adjusting the brightness, contrast, saturation, whatEVER is STILL Photoshopping it....he didn't do it to make his car look unrealistically nice, just to fix the sh*t scan - but EITHER way, unknown_host is right - if any of you who bashed him had any clue what you were looking for, you'd of supported what he said.
i went into PS to adjust darkness.

More Ranting

He wasn't looking for it to meet ANYones' approval, everyone's so damn protective over this car because of how great it looks that they immediately tore into unknown for saying something wasn't right. You DID Photoshop the car, no need for the hostility...

...and since this car is worshipped on here, I guess I'll hide out under a rock under the need to crucify me dies down. lol

....nice car, though.

my husband did the conversions himself. He always liked the look of a vert. Wouldn't have wanted a removeable hardtop.
