Well guys, I have some bad news! Yes, the new motor is running and sounds AWESOME, however I have a few issues that are preventing me from attending.
Issue one: It's still running on the rich side (I have several chips and I'm getting closer to it running right (DIY - PROM), but I dont have a pocket programmer, so when I make changes to the .bin, I have to wait for someone to burn it for me.
Issue two: I have a bad oil leak coming from the brand new 1 piece rear main seal and I cant figure out why. I have to yank the tranny out tomorrow and take a look at it. I just pray that my clutch disk isn't oil soaked!!! The motor has only ran for about an hour (mostly idled) and I havent driven it yet.
There are a couple of other minor things I have to do to the car, but I don't think I'll be able to get it done until beginning of January.
What time are you guys meeting and are you still meeting in that field in Humble? I may be able to make it, but I'll be in my truck.

CRAP!
I went to my wife's grandparents house instead of Baytown to see if I could knock down an 11 second pass. We passed Baytown on the way there and I was tearing up. The reason I couldn't go is because I am STIIILLLLL waiting on my supercharger to be installed. In addition to ATI sending me parts SEVERELY late, they also sent a wrong scoop for the intercooler. So I had to wait on that. Man, I cannot wait until I get that thing. Perhaps some of yall would wanna hook up next weekend and run em? I hope you all had a blast and wanna hear some track times sooon!

We weren't able to go to the track because it was closed, but they should be open soon and maybe we can have a nice sized group head out there. Supreme Member

Me and Texas LT1 are planning on going to Lonestar Raceway in Sealy this Saturday. It is onlyh 1/8 mile but it's a nice track. I hope others will come too, I hate seeing all those mustangs out there all the time. YOu can race test and tune or TOP ET or Modified ET, its only $15 to get in and race. You can even win money if you race in the ET events. See this link for more info, it opens at noon.

The time that the racing ends at Lonestar is variable, depending on how many cars are there. I have seen them close up at 9 when nothing is going on, or 12 midnight on car club night when there are hundreds of cars there. I would expect a pretty good turnout after the holidays. See you there
