totally not trying to start anything, but why did you close that thread? everything in there had to do with body or interior.
pillsbury10. i think you should go with ghost flames...but keep the door handles. they are necessary if you EVER want to race your car.

Hey Pilsbry when you're done tell me how long it took and how hard it was.
I've got some bad rust buildup underneath the paint of both my doors, and one even has a really really small dent right in the middle, but I have a parts 84 z28 and it's doors are fine and I'm trying to decide if it's easier to deal with the rust and dent or just switch doors, before I paint. (but I'd have to switch the power windows too... )
but that's way cool you got so much from insurance. I always here stories of people getting screwed, but you got quite a bit

oh beleive me i have been screwed over by insurance companies 3 times now and finally the 4th time i may actually get what i deserve. if you have 2 better doors just switch them its only like 6 bolts...however i have the same problem with switching the power windows over to the new door. ill let ya know how much of a pain that is.
id love to lose the teal but id have to pull the engine and do all the door jams and stuff as well and i dont feel like going through that much trouble so im keeping the teal for now. especially since this is my daily driver.

Not a big fan of any of the other options. I personally don't think white and teal look that good together.

well some new options have been added thanks to the good ole mod, everyone please vote as im interested in your opinions....when i begin sanding ill narrow it down to the top two options and the winner will be what i go with. so join in the fun, catch ya all lata and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I still painted my car teal, but it's different then the other teal camaros you see, simply because it's not the stock color, NOR does it look anything close to stock color at night.......
You can see the difference in the below pic......
Although Teal with color changing flames would be pretty badass, expecially if the flames changed from green to blue.....:hail:

I voted for teal only because I don't think stripes will look good and I don't like flashy flame jobs on cars that can't back up the look.

yeah yours definitly is a diffrent color, but i dont wanna make it look like yours thats for sure, its bad enough our cars loook pretty close now lol. (dont take that the wrong way i love you car lol)
as far as the changing color flames im not sure how that would look as ive never seen it but not a bad idea thats for sure...do they make paint that changes those colors?
it would be the heritage stripes
and one day my car will be able to back up a flashy flame job
i was gonna start on that but the door kinda moved me backwards a little bit.

seen a guy around here with color changing paint, changed form like an orange to dark red, it was on a red maro, looked bad a$$.
He worked at a bump shop, so he only paid wholesale for the paint.
It was only on the flames coming from the wheels(all 4 i belive) told me that those flames with the color changing cost more then most peoples complete paint jobs, and that was wholesale for only the paint.
so if u can afford it GO FOR IT
