DAMN!! Someone stripped my car last night!

It was pretty nice of them... It looks like they're starting to install a rollbar!

Sorry to hear that Jerry, I just hope they don't vandalize it too much by installing a 10-point cage.

A six point roll bar is the most I will do. That will let me run to 10.00 and 135 mph. and if it runs a 9.99 or better at Fontana you still get your run card pulled for the night.

All Tig welded and all 4130 even the 6x6 floor plates are 4130.

The bar is finished welded and painted, now I have to install the door bars. What you see is 30 3/4 lbs so far.

Nice Jerry! I thought the weight would be more.

Will the door handles still fit with the door bars?

When can you do mine?

How do you feel about doing it to another 3rd gen? Of course depending on how much $, their would be some compensation involved. ;-)

Thats the ticket! I see a place for a drink holder now

The door handles fit great and there is still enough room to squeeze in. Are you going to paint it our polish it?

A chrome molley steel alloy. Very strong. By the way the post is way old. By the way this is the year Jerry will get to try out the roll bar.

I hope not! Trying out the car is cool. Trying out roll bars is definately not cool, tends to damage the paint!

I was thinking the same thing when I read that last night... I hope he doesnt have to try out the roll bar... maybe try out the car WITH the roll bar installed, but not put the bar to use.
