I planned on using the day off to redo the front brakes (wear indicator has been making noise for about 2 weeks). When I get things apart, I discover the outer cover of the hoses are cracked. Only places open today are the discount chains - Checker, Pep Boys, Autozone. None have them in stock, have to order them. The "good guys" - NAPA, Car Quest, dealers - are all closed today.

Wonder what I'll find when I get to the pinion seal...
