I programed a prom with the apyn bin and 6e mask for my 86 tpi. It has a single fan. I set the fan to come on at 183* and off at 176*, but it comes on as soon as the engine is started and stays on all of the time. What should I do to correct the problem. Everything else seems to be fine. No ses lights.

 

There is an option byte at $17 where bit 5 controls whether an active fan drive is low or high out of the ECM. That probably needs to be flipped (if a 0 then make it a 1, or vice-versa).
