A couple pics of my true duals, side exhaust...
Figured I'd finally post some pics....
I had this done after Iinstalled the new motor..
Hooker shorties
2.5 inch tubing
No crossover pipe
Moroso Spiral Flow Mufflers
3 inch exits
I have about 6 or 7 pics but I'm only gonna post three unless you guys want to see more.

info...
The clerance is actually pretty good.
It may look a little low in the photos, but the is because the car is above me.
At the lowest point, on the driver's side, the muffler is about 5 inches or so off the ground.
We had no choice but the install the muffler there and we got the most clearance that way.
I'll be getting more clearance wehn I put new tires on....
The fronts are still these panzy 215/35's I got for free, so the front sits too low.
I am really happy with the exhaust. the performance is WAY noticable in comparison the the single 3 inch setup I had before.
My favorite part is the look the car has now, it's really looking, sounding and acting like a 'Musclecar" now.
SOUND: It is rediculously loud, and sounds freakin' awesome.
I am going to install some bullet mufflers in addition to the current setup in hopes to quiet it down a tad, hopefully at least 2 dbs.
I have a video of the car that I'll post in about 2 weeks, you can let me know how it sounds then.
SO, What do you guys think????

Damn son, I think that is the BEST ground clearance I have ever seen on a "true dual" setup with side exits. Did a shop do that for you? And if not...would you like to come to the states to make a system like that for me!?!?!?! Also, what headers do you have or do you have any? Great job and looks fantastic, post a sound clip if you can get one.
edit: sorry, just reread the first post...so nvm about the headers question.

I had a friend who has a shop do it for me, VERY reasonable too.
Slowly his shop is becoming the most reputable shop in the state for building awesome rides. The name of the shop is Thunder Alley.
He build some knarly stuff. He had a 66' Chevelle there with a twin turbo stroker LT-1 in it, mini tubbed with 20's in the back. And a 50's truck with a nitroused LS1 in it....awesome.
I think if any of you wanted something like this, just go off my design and use a tube style muffler and you will be fine, just remember how loud it will be.
Like I said, soon I am going to install some dynomax bullets in addition to the spiral flows so It'll quiet down a tad.

You guys think it would be a good idea to install some Dynomax bullets in addition to the current setup to make it a bit quieter???
Will it make the sound/tone of the exhaust different????

I asked about side pipes in a new thread, but outside of the racers' style like yours, I'm thinking 70s street machine, custom van style.. you know, semi truck type, laid out sideways.
We abandoned testing here in Minnesota but I thin the cops could still pul you over if they got a good eyefull (read: earfull) on your setup.

the clearance pics shown are with a 215/35 front tire. I got them for free and used them....so actually the front is basically like lowered about an inch.
Now I have 245/45's all the way around and clearance is even better.
Is anyone interested in buying this setup?
I have decided on another route.
If I don't sell it i am going to chop it up sort of. (no longer side exhaust)
Just to let you guys know, it is really loud if your are pushing 400hp+.

I am very interested in this setup. If you want to sell it let me know. The ground clearence should be good on my GTA. It's been lowered about and inch on all fours but I am running 245/45/R17 tires. Let me know if it is still for sale. Thanks

Wow, there are some pretty nice exhaust set up here... I am remembering one that I saw that was pretty much a hack job... It was near my house driving around, a red 87? Camaro, with full sidepipes attached underneath both doors. They looked to be from a late 60's vette or may just the stacks off an 18 wheeler. However it was very quiet. When I caught up to it I noticed the stock exhaust still in place and the car sounded very much like a stock 2.8L! This was pretty funny to me.

i also am veryinterested in this system you have for sale. i wrote you a personal message too hopefully you got that. but before i say i am fully interested i would have to hear some sound clips. thats the most important part is it not? i also think i speak for all of us here when i say you sould get a sound clip.

I like the exhust in the first pic. Would there be enough clearance to run a oval muffler like a dynomax super turbo. They sound good, are cheap and make for a nice cruiser. Only thing I would change would be to maybe use a LT1 exhaust tip. Good job

For all of you interested in buying this setup, remember that you will have to pay shipping costs from Hawaii.
You guys would probably be better off duplicating the setup.
I have some to the conclusion on what I am going to do for my next exhaust setup so that I can lower the car 2 inches and no scrape.
I anyone cares I'll tell you guys about it, it will be very unique.
