Joe started up a club Top of Texas Trans Ams, we would love to have you we seem to have a lack for thirdgen cars, myself with my 89 formula 350 and Joe with is 87 GTA (wow unfair BTW) are the only ones really, drop him a line at topoftexastransams@yahoo.com or you can just meet us @ the sonic on bell between hillside and arden road this saturday at 4:30 for the criuse night, if you going to be late you can meet us at region 16 at bell and hillside, cruise starts at 6

oh man, now i know of 2 third gens that are faster than me...how come ive never seen your car around town? im assuming i havent seen it because if i would have i most likely would have tried to race you and i havent lost yet...22-0 vs third gens, but i guess its because most of em here in town cant break into the 15s

 

One reason may be that she hasn't been out on the road for 5 or 6 months now. Still have a little suspension work to do. Also, I don't race. I do plan on taking it to the track when she's ready, but no street racing. I've also removed all blackouts from the car, so other than the billet grille, it looks pretty stock.

 

Amarillo here too My 84 z is workin again but I just got an 88 iroc and im swapin in a 5 speed right now just got through puttin the bellhousing on but i got tired so finiish tomrrow

Did you get your car finished?

 

Yep sure did get it finished, works like a champ, although it did take me several tries to get the clutch lined up because i kept punchin the clutch medal without the trans in and i didnt know what was goin on but it kept shifting the clutch disc around. The reason i punched it was to help get the tranny in but hell I just lined it up for the 3rd time and took my time and got it in. The only problem I have is a really bad oil leak that may get on my clutch and ruin it

 

clutch medal? If i ddint know better I'd think im still drunk from last night

yeah but your an automatic just like me, even missing a gear you dont really miss, it keeps right on keepin on.
