intrest in sheet metal parts?
Im a sheet metal fabricator and was wondering what parts u guys would want. since im in the process of making some for my firebird, i could always make a couple more. im thinking about the radio pod cover, console cover, radiator support, and maybe a gauge face. im just wondering if people would be intrested.
Thanks

Just curious.. how would you go about cutting something like a radio pod cover out? What tools would you use, to get a nice finish on the Inside edges and corners?
Any plans for a sheet metal intake? If you could make up sheet metal intake manifolds, cheaper than a company like Hogan, I think you'd have a heck of a market. $2500 for a four barrel intake is much too pricey.

that sounds way too hard to do. picture making an intake out of flat sheets of paper. its tough cause u cant use compund curves. if u have a link post it and ill take a look.

Another reason why those Hogan manis are so expensive, they are custom made for each application.
I think there is another company that makes sheet metal manifolds (it might be Wilson), but I don't think they are any cheaper.

I might be interested in a center console cover. Don't make it unless you're going to make one for yourself though. I don't want ya to go out of your way or anything. A matching radio pod cover would be cool...or an entire radio pod since mine is cracked!!!

Be sure to include a disclaimer "Not responsible for burns occured on a sunny day." I can't imagine how hot those would get in a black car with black interior and t-tops.
