Box the LCA and get new rubber, And while there get the PanHard Rod, possibly modify the Torque Arm for less wieght and add rigidity with some creative modifions, if you wana get really into doing some modding of the suspention, check out the fabrictation forum, they have ideas of Torgue arms, LCA, PH rod, and SFC.

Most of those things im going to start doing myself, only thing that i might find challenging is the Torque arm with a different mount, to lessen the strain on the Tranny.

Torch welds are good welds if you can do it right.
I use to torch weld mild steel more than any thing, my welds were flawless in every way, consistantly.
You could flip over the metal and even the back side of the weld would be boned together, it looked like it had been soldered with steel some how.
If that's not a good weld then I don't know what is.
I can't even mig weld that good.
You can make all kinds of stuff. You can buy or make SFC's and weld them in your self.
You could make your own TA if you wanted to.
There is a lot on the fab forum about that.

Nothing wrong with an OAW rig, it used to be the only way. Many aircraft were completely welded with OAW, Chromoly at that!

Oh i know i have no problem with oxy welding, its just this guy cant weld for crap, he was dropped from teh welding school i was in since he took a year to make it halfway through the hobart training books, i was in advanced arc books by christmas and we had started in august. Tig is nice on cages since you want it to look good, even mig is ok i just think tig looks better

There allways building one some where on this little island.
Those guys get paid over 200,000yr and most of them are from the U.S.

Yeah, but I bought the tubing threaded and to size from Coleman, the heim joints from a local race shop, and the jam nuts from the same shop.

No cutting/welding involved

Well honestly though, would you ride in a car with something that has been shotty welded? I'd hate to see someone get an idea from here and go out and buy a welder and make it but then have something break on a vital component and have an accident or damage. Thats the point i'm trying to make, would you ride in a car with a cage that had been welded with a coat hanger and lp torch, i sure as heel wouldnt i have done 4 roll bars and 2 full cages and would gladly ride in that car flipped on its roof without concern

I think it looks good needforspeed, need better pics though, whats the diameter of it?
