TBI Strut Tower Brace?
Who sells these? Are there different brands/quality types?
Are they specific to TBI configurations?
Searching yields stuff applicable to TPI as far as I can tell. Will those work on a TBI?
Curious,

mine was 129 from summit,as far as the install it wasn`t TOO bad ,the hardest part for me was drilling the holes in the firewall.the ones for the strut towers were pretty easy.the first thing i suggest doing before drilling the holes is take a flat head screwdriver after you have made your marks were you`re going to drill the holes and make little groves in the metal because you`re going to need a good bite for the drill to get through if not you`re going to have one hell of a time keeping the drill straight.just take a hammer and lightly tap the grooves in,it won`t takes much pressure so don`t bang on it to hard, like as if you were chizling stone or something.try to make a circle it worked for me.

as far as the stock routing yeah it will fit,but as for me i had the tpi cai routing so now i`m waiting for a throttle body spacer so i can clear the brace so i can get it to work.

Those of you with it installed... did you notice a difference in handling after the install? What kind of difference did you see?

Whelp... just got done adding the Edelbrock TBI Strut Tower Brace to my LO3. With the right advice (thank you robertfrank) and the right drill bit, this was a 45 minute install. The only issue I have is that the heat control valve is a little crowded up against the lateral brace but the improvement in the ride is noticeable and well worth the cost (which wasn't much at all ending up at ~160 all told).

Overall, and since I have the convertible top, there is noticelable less cowl shake and the top does not creak as much as it used to. Additionally, cornering is crisper and there is a general feeling that the car is tighter (like I took 50K miles off the chasis.
