Here's a good one for ya.

Arizona did away with them to save money. You no longer have to have a front plate on your car. But if you get a personalized plate they will send you two of them. Go figure.

I'm in Ohio and we are required to have a front plate. My front plate from my Lumina somehow mysteriously dissapeared about a year ago and I haven't had any problems without it. You're crazy if you think I'm putting my front plate on my Firebird.

Iowa does require 2 plates. It just depends on how bad you **** off the cops around here, to get a ticket for not having one.

Required in MA, however if you call and say your front plate was damaged beyond recognition, then for $10 you can get an 18 month permit to operate without one.

Correct me If i am wrong, but Texas only requires front plates if put on by factory. Either way i have not put one on the front, and refuse to.

I really hate that in Ohio you have to have a front plate. I just slapped on a chevy plate with a chrome bowtie. Love it. Got harrased about it once and that's it. Then I got into that dammmm accident. Now I'm lookin for a replacement

That is dependent on where you live inthe state. Atlanta does have emissions testing and the larger metro areas are considering it as well if they haven't already instituted it.

Everyone will be doing soon. You watch. License plates will be replaced by holograms, RFID or some other such technology.
