Engine: 302

Transmission: Auto

Axle/Gears: 3:73:1

Ignition timing

Can anyone please suggest a starting point for an 83 305ci with no emmision gear fitted and a standard motor?
Its got almost a straight through exhaust, and an Edlebrock 4 barrel.
Its running reasonably ok, but i want to put the strobe light on it, the manual only seems to cater for cars fitted with all the gear, and is non too specific.

IIRC, stock specification is 0°. You can probably safely advance that to 4-6°, but the lack of an EGR may complicate that.
