hey guys

how much HP will i gain with an edelbrock intake w/EGR on my 85 LG4?

I'm guessing you're referring to the Performer. As a guess I would say 5-10hp.

Go take a look at this old thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=10402 .

The real gains come when you combine the manifold with exhaust, cam, and head changes. As you can see, though (as you wade through that old post), I was tickled with the improvement I saw with just the new manifold (very similar to the Performer, by the way).

As you can see from this thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=32656 , I really liked what happened when the manifold was mixed with those other things.
