Supercharger Poll, Vortec or ATI Procharger

Okay i'm determined to get a supercharger but now which company to go with. It seems everyone loves Prochargers here and thats where i'm leaning towards. My mustang buddy insists on Vortech which is a great company as well. So whats everyone say. I'm looking for a 9-12psi kit and intercooled. Thank You

as a dealer of both I say that they are really close in quality and performance. In the advertising arguement between them procharger says "we are intercooled" and vortech says "we have a cooler boost charge to begin with". I have never tested these claims out but both seem to be kickin in the power dept. the thing that pulls my procharger customers in is the price and the self contained option (no oil lines needed). the thing that pulls in my vortech customers is sometimes pricing (usually on the mustangs) and the application availability, and knowing the name.

Okay both great responses. I was viewing the procharger site and the vortec one as well, and i must say that the information on the procharger pulls me towards it more. Yeah and the intercooler part is great for the procharger units. Well i'm leaning towards procharger more. The reason i was asking was i had someone say procharger was a no name company, and i attempted my arguement to that comment, and their response was the vortech name says it all. But i'm siding with procharger but more comments are welcome, Oh yeah sell contained seems great.

I'm interested in this topic too. I'm seriously considering supercharging my Vette. This board has more members running superchargers then the Corvette Forum does. I feel I'll get a better idea from here.

ProCharger

I just put a D1SC unit on my 1989 Formula 350. WOW!!!! They sent me the wrong intercooler, so right now I have the two core. They say that the three core will get to me next week. The instructions that come with the ATI sucks, but the performance is awesome. Now if I could only get the car to hook...
