firebird fender
im in search of a drivers side front fender for my 92 bird. id prefer a 85-92 fender as i will only need to drill new holes for my ground effects. i live in peoria illinois and im hoping someone close to me has one that they want to sell for a decent price. let me know what you have and any pics you have of it. thanx

Re: firebird fender
ok. im just finally getting around to installing these. not sure if its because its an aftermarket fender or if its from a non ground effects car but the body line down by the door where the ground effects bolt up doesnt match. the body line is about 3/8 to 1/2 above where the ground effect stops. also the front 2 bolts on the bottom dont reach the mounting bracket either.
my passenger fender i havent replaced yet but its off a ground effect car. i saw the guy remove it. if it matches up perfectly then ill just deal with the drivers fender until i come across a fender from a ground effects car.
so bottom line i think...if you have a car with ground effects then buy a fender from a car with the same setup. ill make this work for now but would rather have just not had the problem in the first place.
