Parting out a 1992 & 1984 Firebird exterior
I am parting out my 1992 Firebird parts car, it is dark green with tan interior. This car has a 3.1 mpi V6 that is locked up. The guy I bought it from ran it out of oil. I am not sure what is salvageable off the motor. There are however plenty of good interior and exterior parts. This car has the ground effects package and has front bumper with fog light cutouts and rear bumper with molded ground effects. If you are familiar with the 1991-1992 Firebird body styles which I am sure you are, then you know which parts I am referring to.
These are some of the good larger parts, they will fit most all 1982-1992 Firebird or Trans Ams. The only parts that will differ from the 91-92 cars are the bumpers, however if you buy everything then you can change any year car to look like it because all parts will bolt-on without any problems.
I usually check with www.hawksthirdgenparts.com for my prices and then go down from there. This business is about the only place you can find "used" third generation Firebird parts on the internet.
All parts are price to sell quickly. I added a few pictures. I can email more upon request.
For a few more pictures check my listing on LS1tech.com http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/parts-...l#post13678019
These are all from the 1992
- Front bumper (black with small tear on bottom side) $40
- 2 Rear bumpers, one black & one green (1 in good condition, other with small tear on bottom) $45 (good) $25 (torn)
- stock flat firebird hood (white) $40
- rear spoiler (green) $25
- rear spoiler w/third break light (white) SOLD
- 3 sets of taillights (take $10 off total if you buy a pair)
------ $35 each (good condition) (1991-1992 will fit any 82-92)
------ $20 each (small missing piece on edge, hidden by rear quarter) (1991-1992)
------ $35 each (good condition, white louvers) (1982-1984)
- 4 stock 15" wheels w/tires and center caps (will fit any 1982-1992 Firebird) SOLD
- deck lid with glass (with rearwindow defogger) $150
- ground effects (one green driver rocker, one black passenger rocker, one green & one black driver door)
------ rocker $25
------ door $15
------ rear quarter $10
- fog light assemblies (driver and passenger) $15 each
- side marker light front and rear $5 each ($7 pair)
I have a few rear parts from the 1984 Firebird. I have taillights, spoiler, and ground effects. PM for prices.
These are just some of the many parts I have. I have a lot of smaller parts, I just mentioned larger items. Just ask and I'll see what I have.
Respond to the thread or send me a PM.
Thanks

The taillights are shown in the picture. They are just the regular lights for 1991-1992. The Trans Am lights have the dark grids across them. PM sent

I still have the assemblies and $20 each for them. The passenger side one is in good condition. All of the assemblies I have seen have a little rust on the metal brackets which this one does have. Other than that, every thing is good, the lens isn't cracked or anything. I can get you a picture tomorrow.

More pictures added from the 1984 Firebird convertible conversion. There is a spoiler with a third break light, set of taillights, and a rear bumper. The bumper doesn't look that great because the paint has pealed off but there are no crack or tears in it. I have more pictures just let me know.

How much for shipping the front bumper cover to 14482? And the GFX (all 3 pieces, only need one DS door piece)? Any other GFX available for the 92?

I need the ground effect (small Piece) that attaches to the front fender in front of the tire on the passenger side. It runs about a foot long and fits between the front tire and front bumper. Pass side only. Do you have it? If so how much including shipping to Los Angeles and what color? Thanks, Mike.

I sure don't have the front fender gfx. I actually need a set myself. They are though to come by because they get broken easily.
Thanks

The black thing between the tops, held to the roof by 6 screws on the outside and 4 screws under the weatherstripping, is called the center bar. If you still need a pic, I'll get it off of my cam soon.

Re: Parting out a 1992 & 1984 Firebird exterior
I don't think that would work... Looks like it's about halfway to where mine is in terms of rust. There's probably a ton more under the weatherstrip, like there is with my existing bar...
