[Sold] Bilstein HD Struts for 3rdGen Camaro/Firebird SOLD!
Bilstein HD Struts for 3rdGen Camaro/Firebird SOLD!
SOLD:
A lightly-used, but near-mint condition set of 2 identical Bilstein
Heavy-Duty Front Struts, for 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro/Z28/IROCs and Pontiac Firebird/SE/Formula/Trans Ams. Price: $225 plus shipping. I acccept PayPal. Checks also, but they will have to clear before I will ship. I also will not sell to anyone with negative feedback on thier overall rating. A zero is OK, since I only have one feedback myself.
The model numbers for both Struts are: F4-VE3-C522-HO
They were mounted to the car, but never driven on. The car was just
pushed around the garage while being worked on.
When they have NOT been mounted, they've been (and currently are) in my living room to keep them safe. No kidding.
They are completely undamaged, with NO nicks or scratches or rust on the strut rods. The seals are still good and clean, and so are the housings
and boots (the blue accordion things).
They come with the boots, the original washers and lock nuts, and the
little brackets to mount your brake hoses to - they should fit an older
3rd-gen just fine. I understand that the newer ('88 and up or so) 3rd
gens had slightly different-shaped brake hose brackets, but even if
these don't fit, you can modify them without much trouble or substitute
your own brackets.
The pics of each individual strut with the rods exposed were taken in full sunlight.
If interested, please PM me with your zip code and I'll get you a
shipping quote. I've been having to go into town nearly every day, so you'll probably get your shipping quote within 24 hours. Maybe longer on a weekend.
