Whats up fellow members? I am looking for TPI MAF ECM and MemCal chip. Im not too particular if the MemCal is a TPI 305 or 350. I am paying a friend to perform some reprogramming for a few swaps I'm doing. PM me a price or post a picture and price here please.

I forgot to mention that I need a 1227165 or commonly known as a "7156" ECM

 

Hi, I picked up a bunch of clean parts from a crashed 88 GTA TPI car a while back. One item is the ECM with the label missing, but containing a memcal with ACXW 1108 on it. I'm told it's the California version of the federal chip ACXT. Those go into the 7156 I believe. If that would work for you PM or email me your email address for pics and other info, Henry

i've got an ADS super chip that was inside an 88 iroc i parted out some time ago. it appears to be from that era, as it has a picture of an 88 GTA on the box. paperwork says its not legal for use on california polution controlled vehicles. its still new in the box and i believe these use to sell for around 200-250? i'll sell it for 100.00 plus shipping from california (about 6.00). email ron09517@aol.com

the box has a date of 1987 on it.

But primarily, Im more interested in getting a MemCal so that I can run off the "limp home mode" if the programmed EPROM ever fails.

 

there is no part number i can find. it does look like there use to be a sticker on the side that is now missing. in the box is a small tab with "8633 A" written on it. i don't know if this was supposed to be in the box or not.

 

is what you are calling a memcal the same as the chip--about 3.5" long and about an inch wide and it plugs into the computer? thats what this is.

ok, this is a memcal. i also have another one, with "delco ACXX 1113" and on the side it has 68767 8647 i don't remember what car this came out of.
