84 T/A Interior project!
I'm redoing a 84 T/A and I need some help. I'm getting a molded carpet kit for $150, but I need help with seats, what fits with only minor work? I really like the slide out thigh supports in it now but the carpet is all faded.
Second, the trim plates for the manual shift, window switch, and radio all unscrew easy ... are there brushed aluminum plates to replace them with or do I have to make my own?
Third, I want to change the gauges out to the reverse indiglo which I can only find for 82-85 (I think) GTA's. What steps do I need to take to make the conversion?
Finally, any tips/tricks for outfitting the interior? I am going for a black and silver theme from the black console, AL plate trim, charcoal carpet and light gray/silver seats when i get them. All help is appreciated, I want to finish her before they send me to the desert!

any 3rd or 4th gen seats fit very easy, i think youd have to make your own aluminum, if you could buy them id be all over that too, and i think you mean 85-92 gauges, where only the numbers and needles glow, youd need to swap the entire cluster including going to an electric speedo, the speedo swap is in the tech articles
