Geeez Charlie, stop lowering that price!!
I like the lift idea for the garage! Friend of mine had bought one of these new in 83. Dark Blue Metallic, 5spd. He's still kicking his butt!!

I hear you. Even if I got my new Buy It Now price, I don't think I'd be happy with that. Every time I walk by it in the garage, I say to myself, this is a cool car.
I'll let the ad finish up and that's that.

Charlie, you may want to pull the ad and wait a bit. I was looking at all of the Camaro ads on a few different online sites and it seems that the prices are down right now for some reason. There weren't many top quality cars available, and those that were, the prices were lower than they should be and still weren't selling.

I doubt things will be looking good for 2016 either with the election coming up. People that have $8K+ cash to drop on an old car are a shrinking demographic in this nation and may be waiting a bit to see what happens.
Just get a 4 post lift and keep it.....

OMG, Debbie downers!
Cars are still selling. I do agree that 3rd gens seem somewhat depressed lately, especially compared to say, early Spring. But my friend recently sold his 4th gen convertible pretty quickly, and then got an offer he couldn't refuse on his other, lower miles, more mint 4th gen 'vert a week later, which he didn't even have for sale - then used that money to buy a C6, 6 speed, convertible. So there is activity.
I've gotten a bunch of offers, but so far we've been a few hundred dollars apart. Lots of offers for trades as well, but unless it's something that would REALLY float my boat, I'm probably not interested in that. I've even had someone see my ad, clearly state they aren't a buyer, but wanted to know more details about what I did on my exhaust, so they could do the same to their car. Always, willing to help out another 3rd genner.

I haven't had it listed for sale for over a month or so. I'm starting to get the herd ready for their winter hibernation. Today, I took it out for a spin, put a can of Seafoam in it, filled the tank with 93 octane, detailed it and put the cover on. I'll decide what I'm gonna do with it in the Spring. Who knows, maybe I'll keep it and sell the Purple Haze convertible next year.

Great picture!
Back when I was single I designed a house for a piece of property I had that had a game room in the walk-out finished basement with space for 4 cars. The cars would be as much a part of the "Man-Cave" experience as the pool table, bar & big screen TV with the driveway doubling as a patio out front.

I guess you'd need to build a different garage to actually to messy work in. That one is way too nice.
Anyway, back to my '83. I'll probably put it up for sale in the Spring again.....

Take the time to educate yourself on how the crossfire setup works, and learn to fix it yourself. Much more rewarding I promise you. Also l, it's unique and that's part of the fun. Throwing a carb on is a lazy uncreative corner cutting measure. And not that it's worth a whole lot,but it will retain more of its value if you leave the original fuel injection in place.

Yeah, once you learn the CFI basics, you'll realize it's a simple system and pretty darned reliable. But if your car has been sitting in someone's yard for 10 years and doesn't start, don't blame the Crossfire. That's probably the only serviceable system left on the car.
