Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
I may be able to have some available shortly. I have a friend that owns a graphic and sign business and will contact him today to see if he can create some out of the same material that jstoltz was using. Given that he is no longer able to provide these to members, i will see if i can find a way to get some. I know that when i bought mine from him, they were impossible to find elsewhere and the one gm dealer that did not even have any avail, wanted 200$; rediculous. Anyone interested in PM me directly if you want and I'll let you know what I find out.

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
I too tried to reproduce them. The chevy dealers where I live do not offer them, and i could not find them online anywhere. I spent several hours creating a template, fine tuning it, recutting it, and finally getting a perfect match of the pattern to line up with my existing one. I used heavy duty paper/cardboard material. After that I was not able to buy the clear material in bulk to make them. I do have the template though that i used for mine and it works great, if anyone wants do it themselve like i did, you just need to see if you can find clear outdoor grade material (probably from a graphics/sticker company) and i can send you a template that i made that you just place on top of the vinyl sticker you find, trace, and cut. Given the time it took me, and the materials, and to ship it, ill provide a copy of the template for 25$ which will include shipping. Otherwise maybe the origial guy who was selling them will chime in at some point, but im not sure about that. You can pm me, or email me at jeff(AT)magentatechDOTcom

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
Hey Guys,
I have a friend who owns a business that makes and installs custom clear front end protectors. He can make these with the same high grade vinyl. Here is the catch; he will only make them in 2 pieces. The 2 sections meet in the middle of the cover. He says otherwise it's a waste of expensive material.
He's done one for me using my NOS piece as his template, and it looks/feels great.
PM me if interested, and I'll get with him to make sure he's still willing to do them. He did mine over a year ago, but all still should be good.

Once I hear from him, and he confirms that he can/will still do these, I will just ship you mine. I still have an OEM one, so I dont mind giving up my spare.

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
I've spoken with my client, and he is willing to do more of these wear stickers. The price is 113.50 shipped to your door. They will come FedEx and require a signature. Let me know who's interested. Please keep in mind that these are a 2 piece design, not the original 1 piece design, but will look fine once installed.
Thanks,
CJ

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
will they be "invisible" like the one on page 1? I'm thinking about just wrapping the whole tonneau with some clear car wrap just to get the seamless look... also under $70

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
From the 2 that i seen in person, they end up looking raggedy. One was pretty good, but you can still see where the cuts were not clean or straight. And the other ill give a solid d+ for effort.
Are all the wear stickers the same thru the years? Or do they differ like some of the other vert parts?

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
Hey Folks,
I've talked to my client, and he is willing to do these wear stickers again, so who needs them? I would like to drop my original off to him, but I also would like to get more than one done at a time... Please let me know soon.
Thanks,
CJ

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.
Hey,
The price is 113.50 to your door. I want to get a group of at least 5 of these done. How many need/want this wear sticker? I'm leaving town on Friday, but will be back next week, and I'm hoping that at least 5 people pay for a set so I can get this lot of 5 or more done at once.

I can still get them, but as I stated before, only in 2 sections that meet in the center, which makes soo much easier to apply. Price is 113.50 shipped.
